General Marine News.

The steamer Niagara, Traverse City, timber laden for this port, is due to arrive here tonight.

The steamer Iona, Duluth, wheat laden, bound for this port, passed down through the Welland canal today.

The sloop Madcap and schooners Echo and Ballou, Wolfe Island, arrived this morning with oats for Richardson & Sons.

The steam yacht Bertha, formerly owned here, has been purchased by Parry Sound parties and taken up there by her new owners.

p.6 General Paragraphs - The schooner Grantham returned to her mooring place at the Mutual dock today after having unloaded, at Portsmouth, a cargo of 21,000 bushels of corn that she brought from Chicago.
