p.2 Ice Yachts Molested - four ice yachts had rigging stolen; one was taken half way to Garden Island and then left; some of the rigging was later found.

Marine Intelligence.

The steamer Nichols has been given a new cabin.

The M.T. company's steel barge Brighton will be launched as soon as the ice leaves the harbor.

Unless the frost comes to harden the ice in the harbor the steamer Pierrepont will attempt a trip to the islands on Tuesday.

p.8 To Bring the Vessel Here - Next week the Donnelly Wrecking and salvage company will send men to Sarnia to prepare their steamer Cambria for the trip to this port as soon as navigation opens. John Grant, captain of the schooner Grantham, will accompany the men.

Making Big Repairs - Capt. M. Patterson has been making extensive repairs to the schooner Two Brothers this winter. New planks have been placed in her stern and deck, and a new set of hatch coverings provided. The schooner will come out this season a staunch craft.

Floating A Company - Montreal, March 12th - Mr. Knapp, the inventor of the roller boat, is in Montreal, and announces that he is going to build a large boat here and roll it across the ocean. Mr. Knapp is now engaged in floating a limited liability company to develop the scheme, with a capital of $1,000,000, in ten thousand shares of $100 each. The prospectus sets forth all that business men will be interested to learn in this connection, including the results of the experiments made in Toronto bay as well as the principles of the invention.
