The Steam Canal Boat Gilson Afloat. - The tug Major Dana, CaptainDan Manwarring, towed the steam canal boat Gilson into port last evening about 5 o'clock, having succeeded in pulling her off the Ford's Shoals.

A steam pump was taken up Saturday and put on board the Gilson, and although the tug pulled almost constantly, breaking a number of lines, it was found impossible to float her until yesterday, when part of the cargo was jettisoned. After floating her, the steam pump set to work, and the tug towed her down. She will go on drydock and receive necessary repairs.
