MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

Charters were made at Chicago at 2 3/4 cents and 2 7/8 cents on corn to Kingston.

The schooner Fabiola arrived from Charlotte today with a cargo of coal consigned to J. Swift & Co.

The steamer Denver, Chicago, 55,000 bushels of corn arrived this morning at the M.T. company's anchorage.

The sloop Laura D., Hay Bay, arrived this morning with 3,000 bushels of buckwheat for Richardson & Sons.

The steamer John Milne, Smith's Falls, arrived in port this morning for examination by the government inspectors.

The schooner Fleetwing cleared this morning for Oswego. She is lumber laden, and will return with coal for J. Swift & Co.

The tug Active, the flagship of the rear-admiral of the M.T. company's flying squadron, is undergoing extensive repairs.

The tug Jessie Hall, Montreal, arrived this morning with the barges Kingston and Montreal. She cleared again for the same port with three barges grain laden.

Welland Canal Report.

Port Colborne, May 4th - Down: steamer VanAllen and barge, Midland to Oswego, lumber; schooner Bailey, Amherstburg to Oakville, light; steamer Lindsay, Chicago to Prescott.

Port Dalhousie - May 4th - Down: Barge Owen, Duluth to Prescott, corn; steamer Denver, Duluth to Prescott, corn; steamer Melbourne, Cleveland to Montreal, general cargo; steamer Smith, Chicago to Ogdensburg, general cargo; steamer Nipigon and barges Melbourne and Smith, Chassel to Ogdensburg, lumber.
