The schooner Fabiola is discharging coal at Swift & Co.'s wharf.

The M.T. company's barge Toronto was floated out of Davis' dry dock last night.

The schooner Annie Falconer cleared this morning for Oswego to load coal for this port.

The barges Frontenac and Alfred loaded 16,000 bushes of wheat, 17,000 rye and 7,500 bushels of buckwheat at Richardson & Sons' elevator today and cleared for Montreal.

Clearances: tug Bronson for Montreal, four grain laden barges; steamer Elfinmere, Chicago, light; tug Active, Oswego, light; steamer Alberta, Montreal, with cargo of hay.

During a gale on Lake St. Francis three barges, the Hiawatha, Lapwing and Thrush, towed by the tug St. George, broke loose and drifted a mile out of the channel into shallow water. They have been taken off.

Arrivals, 13th - steamer Elfinmere, Chicago, 43,000 bushels corn; tug Bronson, Montreal, seven light barges; tug Active and barge Regina, Sodus Point, coal laden; schooner

Acacia, Oswego, coal laden; schooner Freeman, Oswego, coal laden; schooner Wave Crest, Oswego, coal laden; sloop Minnie, Simcoe Island, laden with oats; sloop Madcap, Bath, laden with oats; schooner Pilot, Bath, 2,000 bushels of peas.

Port Dalhousie, May 12th - Up: steamer Byron Whittaker, Kingston to Erie, light; tug H. Neelon and scow, Toronto to Port Robinson, light; steamer Rosemount, Kingston to Fort William, light; barge Selkirk, Kingston to Fort William, light; barge Melrose, Kingston to Fort William, light.

Down: steamer Elfinmere, Chicago to Kingston, corn.

Port Colborne, May 12th - Down: steamer Cuba, Toledo to Montreal, general cargo.
