The schooner Burton cleared to-day for Oswego.

The steamer Glengarry and consorts will clear tonight for Buffalo.

The tug Thomson arrived from Charlotte with two barges, coal laden.

The steamer Persia, from Toronto, touched at Craig's wharf this morning.

The S.S. Rosemount and consorts cleared for Buffalo to load coal for Fort William.

The schooner Oliver Mowat from lake ports, unloaded wheat at the M.T. company elevator to-day.

The dredge Nipissing resumed operations this afternoon after receiving repairs to one of its anchors.

The steamer Pierrepont returned this morning from Deseronto, having taken up part of the 8th field battery of Gananoque.

Arrivals at Swift's wharf: Steamers Algerian from Montreal; Toronto from Prescott; schooner Lydon from Oswego with coal.

The old steamer Nellie Cuthbert will be in Davis dry-dock for three weeks more. She is being widened, and having new cabins built. A new boiler is also being put in. When completed, the steamer will run excursions out of Brockville.

p.3 Thousand Island News - The steamer St. Lawrence is now running on the Clayton-Alexandria Bay route.

The state rooms put in the Empire State for the Montreal service have been taken out, thus making more room for the passengers. She is now in the hands of painters, but will soon be ready to accommodate the travelling public. The State is counted the best excursion steamer on the river.
