Steamer Sinks a Barge.

Detroit, Mich., Oct. 27 -- The steamer WILBUR of the Lehigh Steamship company collided with the tow barge MARTHA in the channel in Lake St. Clair, off Grosse Point, and sank the MARTHA. The barge was in tow of the steamer MARIPOSA. The WILBUR is badly damaged and is lying at dry dock here. The steam barge A. A. PARKER and consort, B. W. PARKER, ran aground in avoiding the wreck. The sunken barge was loaded with iron ore. No lives were lost.
