p.2 Organized A Yacht Club - Napanee and Deseronto has organized a yacht club. The officers are:

Commodore - Thomas Naylor, Deseronto.

Vice-Commodore - Frederick S. Scott, Napanee.

Sailing Fleet Captain - M.B. Mills, Napanee.

Motor Boat Fleet Captain - Charles A. Walters, Napanee.

Fleet Surgeon - Dr. Simpson, Napanee.

Secretary - S.P. Johnston, Deseronto.

Treasurer - Mark P. Graham, Napanee.

Official Measurer - C.M. Wilson, Napanee.

Directors - Mr. Dewar, Deseronto; T. Naylor, Deseronto; A.F. Chinneck, Napanee.

Regatta Committee - J.N. Osborne, Napanee; H.F. Smith, Napanee; T. Warren, Deseronto; M. Detlor, Deseronto.

Representative in Eastern Circuit - Thomas Naylor, Deseronto.

The directors purpose making the pavilion on Forester's Island the headquarters for the club this season, and steps have been taken to secure the use of the building for the summer months.



The schooner Cornelia cleared, light, for Oswego today.

The steamer Aletha was at Swift's today, on her regular bay trip.

The schooner New Dominion arrived from Oswego, today, with coal for Sowards.

The new steamer Banshee, owned by Capt. Smith, and turned out at Davis' dry dock, was launched today.

The steamer Edmonton arrived, from Toronto, at four o'clock, Friday afternoon, with 127,000 bushels of oats, for Richardsons' elevator.

The schooner Bertha Kalkins, damaged in the bridge collision, a week ago, cleared for Oswego Saturday morning, to load coal for Sowards

The steamer Bickerdike, of the Merchants' and Lake Superior line, will not clear until Monday. She will go light to Fort William to load grain for Montreal.

p.11 Bath, April 15th - ....A. Wartman received a load of coal on the steamer Navajo this week. The steamer Aletha commenced her regular trips on Monday of this week...
