p.5 I.M.C. - The Chieftain arrived up from Quebec last evening.

-The latest reports from the scene of action near Alexandria Bay, where the barge Davy (sic - Davie) is sunk say that the barges were placed over her Friday afternoon and were making good progress. If nothing unforseen happens, it will only be a question of a short time until she is brought to the surface.
