To the Breakwater at Portsmouth

The justice department will undertake the work of repairs to the breakwater at Portsmouth, which have been sadly needed for some time. Word has been received in the from the department that this work will be undertaken as soon as possible. This will be good news to the residents of Portsmouth.

It will be remembered, that this matter was taken up by the deputation from the Portsmouth council, which went to Ottawa some time ago. The deputation pointed out the need for the repairs to be made, and at that time, it was promised that the matter would be given consideration, and now comes the word that the work will be undertaken.
