p.2 We notice with pleasure, that large cables, anchors and other apparatus for the steam-boat, now building on Lake Erie, have reached this city, on their way to Buffalo. We are informed it is the intention of the projectors of this novel enterprize, residing in this city, to put the boat in operation by the 20th of June next. We also learn, that contractors have gone out from Boston to construct two light houses on Lake Erie; that the oil for them is in the river, and that it is intended to light them at the opening of navigation in the spring.
