p.2 A severe gale has been experienced on Lake Erie; the steam-boat, which had proceeded 70 miles up the lake, was compelled to return. It, however, sustained no injury. [Utica Post]

p.3 We are gratified to learn, by an advertisement in this day's paper, that the requisitions of the La Chine Canal Act are so far complied with, that a meeting of the Proprietors is ordered to take place on the 26th inst. to elect a committee of superintendance, and to adopt other preliminary arrangements. [Western Star]
