p.1 Statutes of Upper Canada - An Act to repeal part of the laws in force, imposing duties on goods, wares and merchandise imported into this Province from the United States of America, and to make further regulations for the Trade between this Province and the said United States of America, by land and inland navigation. (passed 12th July, 1819)

p.3 Team Boat - Mr. Jeremy's newly constructed team boat at La Prairie "has the appearance of two large Durham Boats placed laterally together, with a free passage between them for the water, and connected only by the deck and the axis of the paddle-wheel which is fixed in the centre. Ten horses set in motion the machinery which gives the wheel its rotation, and moves in a circular building erected on deck..." [Courant]

-a meeting was held at Montreal to appoint a day for electing directors and other officers of the La Chine Canal Co. [Herald]
