p.2 A meeting is to be held at Hamilton, for the purpose of forming a Company to build a steam vessel destined to ply between Burlington Bay and four other Ports on Lake Ontario.

p.3 Notice - The Stockholders in the Steam-boat William the Fourth, are requested to pay 20 per cent, on each Share subscribed on or before the 23d September next.

Prescott, 27th August, 1831 A. McDonell, Sec'y & Treas.

Notice - The Share Holders in the Rideau Canal Steam Boat John By, are hereby required to pay into my hands on or before the 1st day of October next, a 4th instalment of two pounds ten shillings currency on each of their respective shares. By order of the Committee.
