p.2 The Messrs. Jones of Brockville, freighted a boat with flour last week, destined for Perth. We understand she arrived here, and passing the line of the Rideau, will proceed up the Tay with her cargo. This circumstance confirms the utility of the Rideau as well as the Tay navigation. [Kingston Chronicle]

The Steamboat Union arrived here on Sunday last from Bytown with passengers. She is a handsome boat, and will continue, we understand, her trips along the line of the Canal. [ibid]
