p.3 Our old friend, the Sir James Kempt, will leave Kingston for the Bay of Quinte, on Monday morning next, at 9 A.M.

A private letter from Toronto has the gratifying announcement, that the grant of £1000 for the completion of our harbour, as also that of another £1000 for a lighthouse, to be erected between Cobourg and Port Hope, have both passed the Legislative Council, and received the sanction of His Excellency.
