p.2 Ship Canal Around Niagara Falls - General Assembly of Ohio believe that an American canal around the Falls should be a national work. [Albany Argus]



At a meeting of the Stockholders of the Steam Boat Kingston, held at the Commercial Hotel, the 23rd inst. the following gentlemen were elected a Committee of Management:

N. Ballard, Hollowell.

A. McFaul, Wellington.

A. Marsh, Consecon.

J. & C. McDonald & Co., Gananoque.

Resolved - That Capt. Jacob Bonter be Master.

Resolved - That Mr. James Watt to be Purser.

Resolved - That the Boat continue the same trips, and run on the same days as last season.
