p.2 Canal Troubles on Erie Canal - problems between rival lines, and the plans of the canal company to stop it.

We are happy to announce to our commercial friends, that the breach in the Rideau Canal is so far repaired, that boats and barges belonging to the Ottawa & Rideau Forwarding Company have arrived this morning, with goods and passengers.

p.3 The Great Britain - This noble vessel, on her downward trip on Monday morning last, had no less than 191 cabin passengers - principally travellers from the U.S.
