p.2 Distressing Occurrence - 6 people leave French Creek in small boat, and 4 drown. [Prescott Herald, Dec. 28th]
p.3 The Cobourg Star states that a Steam Boat, 120 feet long, with an Engine of 35 Horse power, is on the stocks at Peterboro, and will be ready in April. She is to be called the Sir Frances Head.
