p.2 Steamboat Accident - The Detroit Daily Advertiser of the 1st mentions that the steam boat Erie, on her passage up the Detroit river, came in contact with a small British steamboat, a few miles above Malden, and that the latter instantly sank. It was not ascertained whether any lives were lost. [N.Y. Com. Adv.]
