p.1 Internal Improvements - letter No. 4 talking about canals.

The Corporation - mentions need for Harbour Master; the Town pumps also should be moved from Macpherson & Crane's wharves to a place with cleaner water. [Whig]

p.2 Notice - All persons having claims on the Officers' Mess of H.M.S. Niagara, are requested to send them in, on or before the 20th day of July, 1840, for immediate settlement. No claims will be noticed that are not sent in on or before that time.
