p.2 The Rideau Canal is now open for the season. Eleven Barges which were overtaken by the ice last fall on the line of the Canal, arrived here yesterday. The steamers Albion and Margaret left yesterday, and the Beaver, Capt. Hunter, will leave port today for Bytown. Arrivals from Montreal by this route may now be daily expected.
