p.2 incident recalled in 1831 - steamer Sir James Kempt stopped at Brockville on way from Prescott to Kingston; 2 men in skiff tried to get tow up river, but in dark got hold of wrong end of steamer while it was at dock, and were run over when the boat started to leave.
