p.2 Rideau Canal Tolls - to be increased up to 400 per cent; Board of Trade and local forwarding houses have presented addresses to Governor General in protest.

p.3 We are informed that the first of the line of Steam Schooners, intended to ply between Lake Erie and Montreal, will be launched tomorrow at the Shipyard of the Railway Co., at 5 p.m.
