p.3 On Saturday last Mr Kittson's schooner The Precursor was launched from the building yard of this town. The Precursor is one of the prettiest models on the Lake, she is intended to ply direct to Montreal, and is to be fitted up on the Ericson principle, she is 88 feet keel, 18 feet 8 inches beam, 93 feet overall and 95 tons burthen - was built under the superintendence of Mr. Collins, and is to be commanded by Mr. Briton, late master of the Perry.
