p.2 The Cornwall Observer says that Messrs. Masson and Farlinger are about "laying up" their bateaux employed by them, for the transmission of goods between Montreal and that place, and have substituted in their stead the propeller Rob Roy which now, since the opening of the Beauharnois Canal, makes 2 trips a week regularly between that place and Montreal. The steamer is mentioned as making some stir in the town.
