p.2 The schooner Carlton, Capt. E. Allen, arrived at this port from Chicago, on the 15th inst. She came through in 12 days, sailing time, which is one of the quickest passages ever made by a sail vessel. She is the first vessel in from Chicago. Her cargo consisted of 6,663 bushels of wheat for Doolittle & Mollison. [Oswego Palladium]

First Arrival From Lachine via the Rideau Canal - The Steamer Favorite, Capt. Strother, arrived here this afternoon from Lachine, being the first arrival thence this season.

Niagara, Port Stanley, 227 Bbls. Pork, 80 Bbls. Flour, 3200 bush. Wheat, McPherson & Crane.

Shamrock, Port Dover, 593 bbls. Flour, McPherson & Crane; 350 bbls. Flour, Pioneer Company; 58 bbls. Pork, Hooker & Henderson; 9 bbls. Pork, H. & S. Jones; 18 bbls. Pork, McPherson & Co.

Scotia, 2836 bushels Wheat, Sanderson & Murray; 651 bbls. Flour, Walker & Glassford; 200 bbls. Flour, John Mowat; 17 bbls. Potash, McPherson & Co.

22nd - Emerald, Port Hope, 2060 bushels Wheat, Quebec Forwarding Company.

Str. Prince Edward, Trent Port, 100 bbls. Flour, H. Buell.

Sloop Eliza Morgan, Sackett's Harbor, 1000 bushels Corn, R.M. Rose.

23rd - Schr. Maid of the Mill, River Humber, 1400 bbls. Flour, Hooker & Henderson.

Alexandria, St. Catharines, 1636 bbls. Flour, Jones & Walker.

Enterprise, Sackett's Harbor, 800 bushels Corn, James Morton.

Telegraph, Hamilton, 372 bbls. Flour, H. & S. Jones; 542 bbls. Flour, Jones & Walker.
