p.2 Another Violent Attack on the Custom House Officers of this Port - a large boat loaded with whisky left Youngstown, N.Y., with a crew of well-known smugglers, and landed on the lake shore about 7 miles from Niagara; fight with customs' officers. [Niagara Mail]

p.3 The Corporation - the tender by Sydney Scobell to build a Lighthouse at the Kingston Marine Railway for £90 10s was accepted.
