The Comet is a new vessel, having been built in 1848, and is well adapted to the Lake and River Trade.

The New and Fast Sailing Steamer
Plies regularly from Kingston to Toronto and Hamilton, calling at the intermediate ports.
Leaves Kingston every Monday and Thursday after the arrival of the River Mail Boat, and arrives at Toronto on the following morning in time for passengers to take the Steamer Chief Justice Robinson, for Niagara and Lewiston, thereby enabling them to reach Niagara Falls and Buffalo, the same day.
Leaves Hamilton for Toronto and Kingston every Wednesday and Saturday at 7 1/2 A.M., arriving at Kingston in time for the River Mail Steamer for Montreal.
The Fares by this Line are reduced.
