Steam Boats - The facilities for travel and transportation afforded by steam navigation on almost all navigable waters may be estimated from what we enjoy in Kingston. - This town is now accommodated by three steam boats; the Sophia passing to Sacket's Harbor & returning every day except Sundays; the Charlotte going down to Prescott twice a week and up to the head of the Bay of Quinte once a week; and the Frontenac going to York and Niagara three times a month.
