It is reported that a Steam Boat will be prepared by next season for the navigation of that part of the St. Lawrence which expands into Lake St. Francis.

A Durham Boat, laden with sand, was sunk between this place and Gananoque, in the gale on Saturday evening last - No lives were lost.
