p.3 The Gore Balance of the 24th inst. states that the whole line of the Welland Canal was expected to be open for the passage of Vessels on the 23d.

A Durham Boat, belonging to Messrs. McPherson & Co. of Prescott, and laden with Wheat and Flour, was totally lost in the Coteau du Lac rapids a few days ago, by coming in contact with a raft. The passengers and crew were saved.
