p.2 The Patriot of yesterday states that half the stock in the projected Steam-Boat of one hundred horse power has been subscribed for. Upon enquiry we find that three fourths of the amount has been taken up, and therefore persons desirous of becoming stock-holders will do well to make early application, either to Archibald McDonell, Esq. Kingston, or to Jonas Jones, Esq. Brockville. The boat is intended to ply between Prescott and the head of the Bay of Quintie, & the estimated expense is £8,000.
