Lost overboard from the schooner LINDEN, off Grand River, on the night of the 17th. instant, Nicholas Roeder, seaman, aged 18 years. We are informed by the captain of the LINDEN, a brother of the deceased, that a squall struck them about two miles off Grand River at half past eleven o'clock, P.M.---that the fore-boom struck him while taking in the main sail and knocked him overboard, and before assistance could be rendered he had sunk. Captain Roeder is anxious to recover his body, and will pay all expenses attending taking it to Vermillion, his late residence
