Engines (2) 40x144 by Macklem Iron Works, Chippewa Ont. (from "Zimmerman"). Used Toronto-Niagara. Custom-House measure (pre-1877) 403t. Tied up twice 1882 by hull inspectors owing to "deficiencies". Rebuilt to 207x28x11 Shickluna Bros., St. Catharines 1883: "all new cabins and increased freight space". Said to be last boat built at Niagara yard (formerly Niagara Harbour & Dock Co.) Destroyed by fire 31/10/83 Port Dalhousie.
