Lake Ontario mail steamer. Originally to have been named "Cataraqui" but renamed at last minute when Barrie, Commandant of Royal Navy dockyard at Kingston, was posted back to England. Designed for Bay of Quinte service, was rather lightly built for open lake. Speed increased by new boiler 1836. Wrecked in collision with schooner "Canada" 30/04/42 South Bay, Prince Edward County, Ont.
