More confusion surrounds this vessel than almost any other. Choose from the following fates: (1) Sunk by cattle stampede March 1866 Detroit; (2) Rebuilt barge 1868 and wrecked 21/10/73 Leamington Ont.; (3) Sank 1860 Lake Superior; (4) "Propeller "Globe" sunk in Saginaw Bay three or four years since" raised and being rebuilt as barge. (Toronto "Globe" April 1868)
