122x26x12 Owned by Calvin & Breck, sometimes chartered to others. Built by Roney, Garden Island 1857. Engine 57x120 (maker unknown). Towboat, known as "Hercules No. 2". Boiler exploded while towing "New Era" 09/10/58 Rapide Plat, killing several including D. D. Calvin jr. Towed back to Garden Island April 1859. Gunboat in "Fenian Troubles" June 1866. Destroyed by fire in winter quarters 19/12/71 with "Highlander".
