p.3 The opposition steamboats running between Hamilton and Toronto, have entered into an arrangement by which the rate of passage is reduced to 5s cabin and 2s 6d deck. The Admiral, instead of running between Lewiston and this port direct, as recently advertised, has been placed on the Toronto and Rochester route, and with the America forms a daily line. A new steamer is fitting up in the harbour by Messrs. Ives, called the Frontenac, and intended for the Bay of Quinte. [Kingston News]
