p.1 Distress on the Lachine Canal - workers unemployed because the contracts were not given out. [Montreal Times]

p.3 For Sale - The fast sailing Schooner Mariner, with her Masts, Rigging and Sails, complete, now lying at Vireff's wharf, Windsor. - Burthen 135 tons. The Mariner underwent a thorough repair in 1842, and has been in the employment of the Government for three years.

J. & J. Dougall, Windsor,

Or to the owner, Capt. Gaskin, Kingston.
