KINGSTON MARINE RAILWAY.

THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Kingston Marine Railway Company for the purpose of electing Directors for the ensuing year, will be held in the office of the Company on Monday, the 7th day of April next, at 12 o'clock, noon, according to the Act of Incorporation.

GOVERNMENT NOTICE.

Sealed Tenders will be received at the Commissariat Office, Montreal, till Noon, on Thursday, 20th March, 1845, for the performance of such Transport by Steamboat and Barge, and for Towing such Commissariat Barges and Batteaux as may be required by Her Majesty's Government, between Montreal and Kingston, and intermediate places, via the Ottawa and Rideau Rivers, during the Navigable Season of 1845.

The Conditions of Contract, the Form of Tender, and any further information which may be required, can be obtained on application at the Commissariat Office, Montreal or Kingston.

The Tenders to state the Rates in Currency, and to contain the real Signatures of two Responsible Persons, as Sureties for the due fulfilment of the Contract; and Payment will be made in Mexican or United States' Dollars, at the rate of 5s. 1d. Currency each, or in the Notes of Chartered Banks, at the option of the Commissariat Officer.
