p.3 Welland Canal - Notice is now given by authority, that Samuel Power, Esq., Engineer, in charge of the Welland Canal, has received instructions to have the Canal prepared throughout to pass Vessels suited to the dimensions of the enlarged Locks, on the opening of the Navigation.

Authentic information at any time required in connection with this or the other Provincial Canals, will be promptly supplied, on application by Letter or otherwise, to this Office.

Government Notice - Tenders called for stage and steamboat transport, via the River St. Lawrence Line, between Montreal and Kingston, for the navigable season of 1846.
