Rammed and sunk by "Prince Albert" early July 1842 on Rideau Canal near Kingston. Had no upper works when built; full-length promenade deck and passenger accommodation added 1842. Made circuit of Montreal-Ottawa-Kingston triangle in 4 days 12 hours early June 1842: fastest ever.
