91x14x6 Owned by a series of fluid partnerships. Built by W. Parkin, Brockville 1841. Engine from New York State. First screw steamer on Lakes (famous American "Vandalia" was fifth). Rammed and sunk by "Prince Albert" early July 1842 on Rideau Canal near Kingston. Had no upper works when built; full-length promenade deck and passenger accommodation added 1842. Made circuit of Montreal-Ottawa-Kingston triangle in 4 days 12 hours early June 1842: fastest ever.
