Another Shipwreck - The Schooner American Eagle, belonging to the estate of capt. Wm. Gaillard, late of this place, and Sill, Thompson, & Co., of Black Rock, left this port on Saturday evening last, in ballast, bound for the Islands, commanded by Captain J. Manchester, When she sailed the wind was light and favorable, but it soon changed, blowing a gale from S.W. We learn by a gentleman who arrived in town this morning from Grand River that the vessel was driven ashore near the mouth of the river yesterday morning, having upset; and all on board, consisting of the captain and four sailors, have found a watery grave.
