The schooner, built for Philo Taylor, Esq., called the Prudence, (which was to have been launched on the 17th inst., but postponed in consequence of the inclemency of the weather) was launched on Thursday last. She is a fine vessel, and glided into her destined element in handsome style when she was greeted with the huzzas of numerous spectators.

The schooner Friendship. Captain Kelley, sailed for Detroit on Friday evening last, being the first that has cleared from this port the present season. Her cargo consisted of whisky, flour, &c.
