Of Interest to Mariners. Buys a Vessel in Spite of the Law.

Chicago, Ill., May 11.--Deputy Collector Lundberg has bought the steambarge City of Green Bay. This is in direct violation of government regulations that prescribe that customs officers cannot own vessel property or be engaged in commerce in any way.
