FERRY,

ESTABLISHED across Black River Bay, from Sacket's Harbour, in the direction to Chaumon Bay, Gravelly Point & Kingston, with boats suitable for carrying footmen, cattle & waggons,&c.. Ferriage very low. People travelling from the southern parts of this county, and elsewhere, wishing to save a distance of 10 or 12 miles, will do well to go by the way of Sacket's Harbour.
