THE MAY QUEEN.--Much apprehension was felt throughout the city yesterday with regard by the safety of the May Queen, which was due here at an early hour in the morning, but had not arrived up to last night. We take pleasure in stating that the fears entertained for her safety are groundless -- a telegraphic despatch having been received by Mr. Owen, giving information that she had been disabled on Wednesday night, on Black River; and that the propeller Cataract was intending to tow her up to this city. In consequence of this despatch, her arrival was expected some time during last night of this morning.--Detroit Advertiser.
