Description
Full Text

The May Queen, on her way to Detroit, Saturday night, when a few miles from Point au Pelee, broke one of her shafts, between the arms of the wheel. Fortunately, the Cleveland was near at hand, on her way down, and took her in tow, arriving here about nine o'clock Sunday morning. She will be repaired at the Cuyahoga Furnace, and ready to resume her trips in about two weeks. The Arctic, Capt. JONES, will run in the line till she is repaired. The Cleveland quit our harbor yesterday, at 11 o'clock, with the May Queen's freight and passengers, made the run to Detroit, and was back at her berth this morning at her accustomed hour.
