The steamer Mississippi on her up trip, yesterday met with a little mishap when off Cleveland, breaking the "follower" of the engine, which compelled her going into Cleveland for repairs. Nothing further resulted from the break than a detention of the very large [ al] of passengers, who, however, came up last evening on the Junction Road, staying at the Hotels last night at the expense of the Steamer, and going down this morning. The Steamer will be detained only one trip [ ]. The St. Lawrence will be up toddy on her [ ] time.
